The cat is officially out of the bag! It’s just been announced that an anime adaptation of KyuruZ’s Nights with a Cat Twitter manga is in the works, and it will release sometime in Summer 2022.

 

A teaser visual was revealed (the QR code leads to the anime’s official website), along with the main staff members:

Nights with a Cat is being directed and written by ISEKAI QUARTET‘s Minoru Ashina at Studio PuYUKAI, with Minoru Takehara coming along for the ride again as animation director and character designer, alongside Kana Utatane as music composer (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) and Fumiyuki Go (The Rising of the Shield Hero) as sound director.

 

Additional details about the anime, such as cast and format, are yet to be revealed.

Yen Press, who’ll be officially publishing the manga’s first volume in English on June 21, describes the series as:

 

When Fuuta comes home tired at night, all he wants to do is spend time with his new cat. All the mysterious habits and mannerisms of house cats are carefully reproduced in this relaxed and cute comedy about living with an adorable furball!
