To commemorate the smash hit of the film Shin Ultraman and its theme song “M87” by Kenshi Yonezu, his official YouTube channel has started streaming a special collaboration movie packed with newly-introduced scenes from the film. The 87-second clip shows Ultraman in different color and the original form of Alien Mefilas, played by Koji Yamamoto (Alex Louis Armstrong in the Fullmetal Alchemist live-action film series).

As Yonezu’s 12th single, the CD single of “M87” was released in Japan on May 18, then ranked second in Oricon’s weekly single chart in its first week. The song’s original music video has been viewed over 15 million times on YouTube.
