Prima Doll, a TV anime series from the new mixed-media project produced by the game brand Key (Kanon, AIR, CLANNAD) is set to premiere in Japan on July 8, 2022. The anime’s key visual and main PV featuring its opening theme song “Tin Toy Melody” are also revealed. The song was written/composed by Jun Maeda and arranged by MANYO.

“Prima Doll” story introduction:
Cafe Kurokoneko-tei. It is a coffee shop located in a corner of the 5th district of the Imperial Capital. Working there are girls who are autonomous mechanical dolls (automata), the culmination of the best of technology. The Great War just ended a few years ago. The girls were created as weapons there. Eventually, the peace that followed the war arrived. Restored to look as good as new, dressed in shiny kimonos They are looking for a new role, and singing in high spirits. Wouldn’t you like to spend a wonderful time with them?

Prima Doll New Order illustrated by Yuriko Asami (Angel Beats! series) will be serialized in Comic Walker/Nico Nico Seiga‘s “DengekiG’s Comic Page,” while Prima Doll ~Yokoso Kuroneko-tei he~ (Welcome to Kuroneko-tei) illustrated by Hiroki Toda (Iincho no Nozomi) will run on Comic Bushiroad WEB.
