Yuri comedy series WATATEN!: An Angel Flew Down to Me will be heading to the big screen this autumn in a film subtitled “Precious Friends.” Initially announced at AnimeJapan 2022, the upcoming movie has dropped lots more intel today, in the form of a trailer and new key art.
First, the trailer: which gives us a look at the cast in action. We also get our first sample of the film’s theme, also titled “Precious Friends,” and performed by the series’s five-member voice actress unit Wataten☆5:

The TV series’s official Twitter account also shared a new key visual for the film, featuring the cast gathering for an apple snack and absolutely nothing in the background:
WATATEN!: An Angel Flew Down to Me is based on Nantsu Mukunoki‘s 4-panel comic of the same name. Both the new key visual and trailer confirm a Japanese release date of October 14 for the upcoming film.
