Baseball is on the cards this summer for the My Hero Academia anime and to complement the upcoming OVA episode, the franchisee will also be teeing up with two Japanese baseball teams – the Softbank Hawks and Yomiuri Giants. The collaboration, titled Summer of Hero Baseball!!, sees chibi visuals of Kohei Horikoshi’s characters in baseball outfits released ahead of more collaborations in stadiums in August.
Outside of merch for the collaboration, the voices of My Hero Academia‘s characters will ring out at the August 20 / 21 game between the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, and the August 25 game between the Chunichi Dragons and Yomiuri Giants.
